We are delighted to announce a new programme of the popular mindful photography course, My Mind’s Eye.

Starting on Wednesday 1 February, the next My Mind’s Eye course will run online via zoom for 8 weeks on Wednesdays 10am-12am.

Designed to help you reconnect with the world through photography, the sessions are led by fine art photographers Paul Sanders and Steve Sunnucks, both passionate about the benefits of photography on mental health.

The course is open to any adult in West Kent who feels it would positively impact their mental health and no previous photographic experience or special equipment required.

Sign up by completing the form here: westkentmind.org.uk/arts-photography
Or come along (online via zoom) to a taster session on Wednesday 18 January at 10am to meet the workshop leaders and find out more about the course. Email community@westkentmind.org.uk for the zoom meeting link.

The sessions will run online on the following dates:
    February: 1, 8, 15, 22 & March: 1, 15, 22, 29

It is hoped to have the opportunity to take photographs in a beautiful location in one outside meeting during the course.

Feedback from previous course participants has been hugely positive. Places are limited so do contact the team (community@westkentmind.org.uk) to find out more and book your place.

By coming to this group, it has helped me grow in confidence, and get outside more. When I first started the course, I didn’t leave the house. My Mind’s Eye has helped me get outside to take more photos and I have now joined a weekly walking group, and feel much more connected and active.”
