    Green Waste Collection Driver/Loader

    Salary Band C £23,706 to £26,107 equivalent to an hourly rate of between £12.28 and £13.52

    A generous annual leave allowance of 24 days (plus an additional 5 days depending on having Continuous Local Government Service).

    The Role

    We are looking to recruit a Garden Waste driver who holds a LGV category C licence and current CPC card. As a driver, you will work with a fellow loader to provide an excellent service to our residents throughout the Sevenoaks district. You will take responsibility for your round, ensuring a schedule is followed and waste picked up and disposed of correctly.

    This role would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team as well as outside. You must be confident with the physical aspects of the role which involves heavy lifting and moving loaded bins.

    Based at our Dunbrik Depot at Sundridge you will be expected to work 37 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday 6:30am to 2:30pm and Friday 6:30am to 2:00pm

    The Team

    You will be joining a small team which consists of four crews, with each one made up of one driver and one loader. The larger Direct Services team has approximately 110 operational staff working in various areas including waste management, deport management, transport, workshops and environmental enforcement.
