The Lonnigans skiffle concert and craft fair, with special guest Percy Chin, raised money for 3 charities of which West Kent Mind was one. We were so thrilled to receive a cheque from Eddie Armer for £250, thanks to everyone who supported the event!

Margaret, John and Eddie of the skiffle group said:

We would like to thank all those who helped to make the concert and craft fair so enjoyable and a great success. The evening was enthusiastically supported by our regulars and our wonderful team of volunteers. We raised £850 in total to be shared amongst our chosen causes. These included £250 to West Kent Mind (to buy equipment), £250 to Skiffle For Wellbeing (towards our next fund raising event), £150 to East Hoathly and Halland Community Garden Project and £200 to Global Makes a Noise (children’s charity). Keep on skiffling!

Eddie Armer helps to run the West Kent Mind skiffle group on Fridays at our wellbeing centre in Sevenoaks and is also very supportive in organising independent gigs a few times per year to fundraise for charities including West Kent Mind.

We would like to say a huge thank you for everyone’s effort, continued support and for making us all smile with your fabulous musical talent!
