  1. Here’s an opportunity to work for the first Local Authority to be awarded the prestigious Investors in People Platinum accreditation.

    As well as working hard at developing our staff, we are also on a continuing journey to develop our services through the innovative use of technology.

    In this role you will be responsible for providing an IT Support service that ensures the technical environment is fit for purpose, robust, secure and cost effective. You will also be responsible for providing a high level of technical support through the whole Council.

    You will have experience of in the delivery of a professional IT service and an awareness of current and future technologies. You will also be a good communicator and be customer focused.

    You should be able and willing to work outside of normal hours as necessary.

    Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
