HR Business Partner - 12 month FTC

  1. The Role

    We are looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to cover a 12 months maternity leave, who will not only act as a trusted partner to services in the organisation, but will work collaboratively with the HR Officer that they will line manage and mentor.

    The HR Business Partner together with the HR Officer support:

    • People and Places
    • Customer & Resources
    • Economic Development and Property

    This role is perfect for an experienced HR Business Partner who wants to place their stamp on a fantastic council and can hit the ground running with an exciting opportunity to make a difference. This is a hands on role where you will be expected to work with a high level of integrity and accuracy to deliver all elements of the employee lifecycle. You will enjoy reviewing and improving processes and procedures and will thrive on the challenge of balancing the day to day work with HR projects.

    Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all key HR tasks are delivered in a fast-paced and challenging environment where you will need to manage multiple tasks concurrently.

    You will be comfortable working in an environment with a variety of departments and key stakeholders, who will expect you to be decisive, creditable and have strong relationship building skills as well as taking a creative approach to problem solving. You will also be providing leadership, coaching and professional development. The team and your peers will look to you for inspiration and to help deliver high quality work.

    As the HR Business Partner, the technical knowledge for the role is assumed, as is your experience operating at a higher level. But, we are looking for people with the right approach, attitude and passion for the profession, with a strong team focused work ethic.
