  1. Our Accommodation Services team are at the heart of the Council’s Housing service where a supportive approach is key as we all work together to provide the best service for our community.

    Excellent communications skills are essential as the role centres around liaising with applicants to update them on their application or to collate information regarding their housing situation as well as the daily running of the Council’s Housing register.

    Key elements of this role are:

    • Experience of liaising with statutory, non-statutory and voluntary agencies
    • Ability to produce accurate and concise information
    • Flexible approach
    • Strong IT Skills with a methodical approach to working
    • High standards of customer service
