Young people can access free contraception, walk-in sexual health screening and advice at Edenbridge's dedicated sexual health clinic.
The clinic is open every Thursday between 4pm and 6pm at the Edenbridge Leisure Centre. No need to make an appointment, just drop in.
Available to all Edenbridge residents aged 21 and under, the clinic offers free confidential support and services which include condoms, Chlamydia screening, contraception and sexual health advice. All services are delivered by a dedicated health outreach nurse.
Cllr Pat Bosley, Sevenoaks District Council's Cabinet member with responsibility for young people, says:
Gill Goodes, Lead Nurse for Contraception and Sexual Health at NHS West Kent adds:
As part of the Sevenoaks District Teenage Pregnancy Partnership, Sevenoaks District Council, NHS West Kent and Kent County Council have come together to provide support for young people to access sexual health information and services within their community.
